From the 2027 awards onward, Nutrition Selections will use the name Functional Value Award and a new emblem.
We are updating the award name and visual identity to communicate the value of product concepts, user experiences and ideas for everyday life. We have also updated the official website to make award-winning products and award details easier to explore.
Products Awarded in 2026 and Earlier
Previous award records will retain their original award names and years. This change will neither revoke previous awards nor automatically convert them to the new award.
The scope and duration of use for previous emblems remain subject to the terms agreed when each award was granted. Previous emblems will not be replaced with the new design. Please contact the program office with any questions about your award.
About the New Emblem
The 2027 Functional Value Award will use an emblem bearing the new name and the award year. Product profiles will clearly state the year, category, and award name.
What the award represents
This award recognizes product concepts, experiences, and the value products offer. It does not certify or guarantee medical effects, product safety, regulatory compliance, or similar matters.
