Which products are eligible?
The program covers food, dietary supplements, and cosmetics. Please contact the secretariat to discuss your product category and the materials needed for review.
Do the six perspectives mean that every aspect is scientifically verified?
These six perspectives help us describe a product’s characteristics. The program does not conduct testing or scientific verification for every item; the scope of review varies according to the product and the materials submitted.
How are award-winning products featured?
Products are featured on a profile page with the award year, category, and award name. Emblem usage terms and published content are confirmed individually.
Will awards from 2026 and earlier also be listed?
Yes. Each award is listed under its original name and year. Past awards will not automatically be renamed the 2027 Functional Value Award.
May I replace an earlier emblem with the new one?
For previous award winners, please use the emblem issued at the time of the award. The scope and duration of use follow the original agreement. Contact the secretariat with any questions.
Does an award guarantee a product’s efficacy or safety?
This award recognizes product concepts, experiences and value for everyday life. It does not certify or guarantee effects, efficacy, safety, quality or regulatory compliance.
